So currently I'm looking at artists who sensibilities are closest to mine. Meaning I'm studying a lot of Sean Phillips, Tim Sale, David Mazzucchelli, and Eduardo Risso.
Not to mention Andrew Loomis and John Paul Leon studies. I have an enormous amount to learn I want to get those eight illustrations for my novel completed by November next year. And even more I want to start being able to telling my stories as graphic novels.
A fucking ENORMOUS amount. But then what is the alternative? Get someone else to do the illustrations?
I don't think so.
